Booking policy contract for the Central Reservations Office of the Valaisan Chablais
Contract basis for online reservations via Chablais Tourisme SA 

1. Application field

These general conditions are applicable to all accommodation reservations or ticket reservations made via Internet and/or the Call Center of  Chablais Tourisme SA .
All of the informations concerning the hosts have been gathered with precision by Chablais Tourisme SA . No garanty can be given as to the exactness and entity of these informations. The present conditions of Chablais Tourisme are valid.

2. Contract basis

Chablais Tourisme SA  doesn’t take the responsability for these services directly, it is only an intermediate or a « middleman » between the client and the hosts. The contract is concluded therefore directly between the host and the client.

3. Reservation and payment conditions

The payment of the reservations is possible by bank transfers or CCP (postal transfers), as well as with credit cards accepted by the hosts. However, it is obligatory for the client to furnish at the moment of the reservation, the information relative to the credit card used (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Diners) : the type of card, the name of the beholder of the card, the validity of the card, and the number of the card.
After a reservation has been made, the host can ask for a pre-payment or even the totality of the reservation.

4. Concellation policy

Chablais Tourisme SA  is not responsable for cancellations. All cancellations have to be announced from the client in written form (mail, fax or e-mail) to his/her host. The host only, can accept the cancellation or try to find an arrangement with his/her client. Depending on the cases, the pre-payment will not be reimbursed to the client.
However, Chablais Tourisme SA reserves the right to cancel a reservation if the host doesn’t accept it. In this case, the client will be informed ahead of time and the pre-payment which he/her had payed for will be reimbursed.

5. Cancellation protection

No cancellation protection is proposed by Chablais Tourisme SA. However, we advise you to get a cancellation protection from your local insurer.

6. Late arrivals and early departures

The client is responsable for his arrival. In case of late or early arrivals, it is the responsability of the client to inform his/her host.

7. Responsability

Chablais Tourisme SA shall be liable in the case of deficient services, legally insufficient performanceof the contract or damage, in so far as the fault shall lie with Chablais Tourisme SA. In any case, its responsability is however limited to the maximum of the pre-payment already paied.
The client is however entirely responsable for all damages made during his/her stay.

The Swiss law is applicable. The juridic fort is Monthey (Switzerland).
